How Meta Retargeting Works
Launch AI-powered Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns from your dashboard. Target verified buyers, lookalike audiences, and event page visitors — with one click and zero technical setup.
One Click
Enable retargeting, set a budget, and launch. The AI handles ad creative, targeting, and optimization.
Verified Audiences
Target 350K+ verified ticket buyers who attend events like yours, geo-targeted to your area.
AI Optimization
The AI continuously optimizes bids, creative, and audience weighting to maximize ticket sales.
Real-Time ROAS
Track ad spend, clicks, conversions, and return on ad spend from your event dashboard.
How to Enable
Open Your Event
Go to Dashboard → Events → [Your Event] → Marketing → Meta Retargeting. This is where you manage your campaign settings.
Set Your Budget
Choose a daily budget (e.g., $25/day) or a total budget (e.g., $500 total). There's no minimum — start with as little as $5/day and scale up as you see results.
Launch
Click Launch Campaign. The AI generates ad creative from your event details, builds your target audiences, and starts running ads on Facebook and Instagram. You can pause or adjust the budget at any time.

AI-generated from your event details. Runs on Instagram and Facebook automatically.
Who Sees Your Ads
Your campaign automatically targets three high-value audiences. No audience setup required.
Event Page Visitors
People who viewed your event page but didn't buy. They already showed interest — a retargeting ad converts 15–25% of them.
Verified Buyers
EveryEvent Washington's 350K+ verified ticket buyers who attend similar events, geo-targeted to your event's location.
Lookalike Audiences
Meta analyzes your best-performing attendees and finds algorithmically similar people across Facebook and Instagram.
Reading Your Dashboard
Ad Spend
Total amount spent on your campaign so far. Updates in real time as your ads run.
Impressions
How many times your ad was shown to people on Facebook and Instagram feeds and stories.
Clicks
Number of people who clicked your ad to view your event page. Higher clicks mean stronger ad creative.
Conversions
Ticket purchases directly attributed to your Meta campaign. EveryEvent Washington tracks this automatically.
ROAS
Return on ad spend — ticket revenue divided by ad spend. The average is 8:1 ($8 in sales per $1 spent).
Cost Per Acquisition
How much you paid in ad spend per ticket sold. Helps you gauge efficiency as your campaign runs.
Troubleshooting
Campaign not starting
Make sure your event is published and has at least one active ticket type. Draft events and events with no tickets available cannot run Meta campaigns.
Low impressions or clicks
Allow 24–48 hours for Meta's algorithm to optimize. Very small budgets ($5/day) may limit reach. Consider increasing to $15–25/day for better performance.
ROAS seems low
Campaigns typically reach peak performance 3–5 days after launch. Early results may underperform while the AI learns which audiences convert best.
I don't see Meta Retargeting in my dashboard
